About the method

Before we have words for it, the brain reads form. Curvature, symmetry, angularity — processed automatically, faster than thought. These reactions are nonverbal. They don't depend on what a person wants to show.

This is what Gemetra reads.

The method studies how a person organises form and space in a free drawing.
Not what is drawn — but how.

Not a test. Not a questionnaire. No right answers. In development since 2013. Our current focus is compatibility — in couples, friendships, and teams.

What you get

After you sign up, three things follow — a protocol, a review, a conversation.

01 · The protocol

We email the drawing protocol after you sign up. Not before — showing it earlier would shape the drawing.

02 · A personal review

A written analysis of your drawing — what it reveals about how you organise form and space.

03 · A feedback session

A live conversation — meeting, video call, or chat. For you — a free session. For us — a validation data point.

How to participate

Step 01

Prepare materials

Prepare

A clean white A4 sheet — no grid, no lines. A ballpoint or gel pen, blue or black. A hard, flat surface.

Step 02

Drawing step

Draw

Draw alone. Even a quiet observer changes the drawing. Take as long as you need. Full instructions arrive by email after sign-up.

Step 03

Photograph the drawing

Photograph

Hold the phone vertical, camera strictly from above — no tilt. Even, diffused light — no shadows on the paper. The sheet fills the screen, all four corners visible.

Step 04

Send the file

Send

Send the original file — not a screenshot, not a compressed messenger image. JPG or PNG.

Step 05

Feedback session

Get your feedback

We reach out and agree on a format — meeting, video call, or chat.

Why we do this

How someone draws is harder to fake than what they say. The method has been refined by hand since 2013. Now we're collecting the data that lets us measure it precisely — and, later, train an AI to do it quickly.

Every drawing is read personally. Small numbers, high care.

You can use any nickname. Your real name is not required.
Drawings are stored only for research. Never sold, never shared.
You can ask us to delete your drawing at any time.
